Today was a landmark day here at the Hazelnut Inn. We finished off the last of the welding in the North Star Suite and moved the welder down out of the garden. If the weather holds, we’ll be placing the garden walkways later this week. Stay tuned…
The forms for the North Star Suite’s garden path I are nearly finished. It’s almost time to pour some concrete!
The North Star Suite’s garden fountain is starting to take shape. At the moment it is more than a little transparent but by the end of next week it will be as solid as stone.
The North Star Suite’s garden path will culminate at a fire bowl surrounded by this lovely cobblestone circle. The fire bowl is being built at the Imagination Corporation’s workshop so stay tuned for more pictures.
The preparation for the North Star Suite’s private garden is continuing. We’ve poured several footings for the various sculptures that will populate the garden — including this ancient obelisk. I’m looking forward to seeing it in place!
The North Star Suite’s garden path is now defined. Next up we will build the garden’s fountain. After that it will be time to pour the walkways and start planting! Only 94 days until our grand opening and open house.
