We have been making significant progress in the last little while and yesterday was a BIG day!

A pumper truck arrived bright and early and pumped eighty cubic meters of concrete into the forms for the first floor. This little boutique hotel is going to be VERY strong and VERY quiet!

Next week, the framers will start stripping the forms while the plumbers install the in-floor-hot-water heating system in preparation for pouring the floors. While they are busy doing that, the Imagination Corporation will be getting ready to lift the first of our themed features into place.

Exciting times!

The ship's cabin for the Hazelnut Inn has been our focus in the last days as we get it ready to lift up into place very soon. The crane is now booked! All of the areas have been sculpted save for round the windows which are due to arrive in a week. Painting will begin very soon!

Today, we are making a few things for our Pinterest account. We came across a nice little shot of the model and thought it would make a good pin. But it won't be long now until we will be able to take a picture of the real thing. We can hardly wait!

Today we added the details around the Avellana's windows. The carved concrete is looking great and I can hardly wait to see it painted up!
